    I'd go to Midnight Madness.

I think Midnight Madness should be brought back too. Lee got it started back up and the attendance was pretty good. I will be there (as ussual) if it starts back up.

Oh....I have to add that while I am extremely excited about the Marlin hire, he throws like a sissy. At least he didn't bounce it I guess.

I think you need to go with the Dome if you're going to do it right.

    The biggest reason: Space.

Sure, you could do it at Earl K. But done right you would have more than could fit into Earl K and would hate to have to turn people away. No reason not to have at least 3K or 4K people there - and that's a safe number. I think people would show up because of the new coach. (Blackham would work, too, but should be a second option.)

4,000 trying to get into a 1000 seat arena at midnight would create much more buzz than 4,000 trying to get into a 10,000 seat arena.

The basketball party outside would be incredible.

4K? After that post I knight you as an official Cajun fan......always the optimist.

I would have to guess, but the last midnight madness I went to (Lee's first) maybe had 1,000. If it could be at Blackham and there's a line and some are turned away (I doubt it), then the community will see that there is a demand. I'd compare it to the new club on the street with a line wrapped around the corner to get in to give the impression that it's the place to be (when infact it's half full inside). Everyone that walks by is curious and they'll stop to check it out...We couldn't fill Blackham when the games were "Back in Blackham" a couple of years ago for game, but the atmosphere was great...Great T-shirt by the way...

Blackham Coliseum does not have a court anymore. That rules it out as a place to hold a basketball function. I agree that the Dome should be the place for the celebration of the opening of the season. We could probably book it right now. I still think Saturday morning scrimmages should be at EKL in order for fans to attend.

The Cajuns are going in a new direction. So is ULM. Orlando Early has resigned to become an assistant at South Carolina, sources tell FOXSports.com.

Had been rumored for a few days but finally happened Wednesday.

Any idea whom the WarHawks may target as a head coach. Pretty late for them in the game at this point.
