Louisiana Women's Tennis opened their fall schedule with three draw championships at the Lady Demon Invitational.
The Ragin' Cajuns won a combined 17 matches and won more than half of the draws they competed in.
Angelique Berrat took home the title in the Purple Singles Draw. The junior won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, to claim the title after winning a pair of matches yesterday. She wasn't the only Cajun with a singles title on Sunday, as freshman Rocio Navarro won the Orange Singles Draw. Navarro won her draw without dropping a set including a convincing 6-4, 6-0 win on Sunday.
In the Grey Doubles Draw, Nina Krecklenberg and Karolina Skowronska took home the title with an easy 6-1 win in the finals after squeaking out a 7-5 victory in the semifinals. Skowronska also had a good showing in singles, reaching the finals of the Yellow Singles Draw before falling in three sets. In the Purple Doubles Draw, Ana Martinez Vaquero and Berrat earned a victory as did Jenaila Prulla and Navarro.
Navarro also won a pair of matches in singles while Krecklenberg and Prulla each earned a win in their draws.
