    Ooops.
Georgia Tech left either the year before or after Tulane bailed.
That makes sense. Yep BIG ooops.

I remember the radio broadcast well as it was really the first UL football game that I listened to intensely and in its entirety. I was just a little kid listening to my transistor radio on my parent's carport. Remember getting really excited when Septien hit that first field goal.

50 years ago, the Cajuns played Tulane in a game no one there will ever forget.

Louisiana students created a tunnel for the Cajuns to run out of in pregame and to start the second half at Tulane Stadium during that infamous 17-16 loss to the Green Wave on Sept. 14, 1974.

Besides what I read years later, I have no personal memory of this game.

I was 14 at the time.

I remember raising rabbits and entering a garden growing contest.

Bart Starr had retired when I was 11 but was still my favorite quarterback.
