It was nice not seeing “To view this post remove user from ignore list” as the most recent post in EVERY SINGLE thread for a while.

Powerpoint is prepared and ready to go.

    He has a point..

UL's NIL operation is almost entirely dependent on nickels and dimes from the fanbase as a whole. The schools we're trying to compare ourselves to have super-wealthy donors that support athletics more than they support academics or tax write-offs

Memphis and Tulane are all but gone. The PAC wants 2 more with them. The next 2 will be from either UNLV/UTSA/USF.

Air Force is about to jump to the AAC. This is all political. The government wants all 3 academies in the same conference.

The P4 AD's are trying to throw their weight around in demanding that the non-P4 leagues stop pulling up FCS schools. Very possible as a result of this round of realignment, one of CUSA/MWC will absorb the other.
    Oops.

    Edit...oops x 2.

The PAC12 errrr2, may have a cash flow problem coming. Reggie will win.

The biggest thing throwing a wrench in the PAC/MWC courting now is both are seeking new media deals since the present ones are expiring, and none are on the table. The PAC is throwing around numbers that probably will not happen. The new PAC is basically lipstick on a pig compared to the old PAC. Texas State keeps getting some mention in both situations, but I don't see anyone else jumping without a media contract in place. And the MWC crowd, other than Texas State, seems to want to move up the 2 Montana programs before anyone from CUSA.

Both are stuck at 7, which is a problem.

Looks like the Pac-Whatever has decided to Zig Zag.

Courting UNLV. The SBC has a ton of pros and cons. Right now, the biggest pro is, once again, watching others cannibalize each other.

Yes, and they clearly want to remain in the West Coast and Mountain Time Zones footprints that they are willing to ignore Texas State. The most entertaining aspect is in the end, they will all be in the same affiliation as the SBC.

And now the MWC is filing suit because the PAC-12 is refusing to pay the exit fees for the new members.

This just keeps getting more and more interesting.

I can confirm that MWC dissolution is not coming. Sources indicate that the plan is to hold the Pac12 to the $145 million in poaching/exit fees. With the new GORs determine market value and either 1. rebuild or 2. merge with the American. Hawaii would join CUSA in Football.

The result of all those moves going on is like Animal House’s Omega rush party. The adds don’t replace the subtractions.

The adds will be like Mohammad, Jugdish, Sidney and Clayton.

SBC board have a few stirring the pot, usual fans of existing SBC teams that want ECU and/or WKU. Usual move up trolls come and go.
