As young newlyweds, Steve and Sarah Oubre's world has always revolved around all things Ragin' Cajuns. Living in the Saint Streets neighborhood, right outside the gates of the university, they seldom missed participating in something centered around the multitude of offerings on campus.

However, their connections to this place began even before then.

What excites him most is his role as the "Master Architect of the University." In that role, his primary responsibility is ensuring that the master plan, which he developed in 2013 and is currently updating, is achieved as envisioned. The stadium and other athletic venues, both built and envisioned, are all part of that 2013 vision.

Look forward to seeing the updated master plan. Seeing it as a recent grad at the time reaffirmed my love and excitement for my alma mater.
