Champion Square needs to be in front of the stadium and not tucked away in a corner.

My point is we have better and more resources (or we should,) along with 3 times the enrollment and the best UL can do is roll out a high school band look and performance in front of a large crowd...not to mention knowing they would follow one of the best marching bands in da land and they show up in TShirts, black shorts, and in some cases black socks. Pride my a s s...the band name should change to The Mediocre Band from Cajun Land...
Well hopefully the upper deck will allow fans to come in and purchase food, drinks and sit down watch some games, and it needs to be connected to outside tailgating? Am I wrong on this, or will this be for the people who have premium seating in that area? If thats who it is only for, then why wouldnt you do it for people who just want to tailgate and congregate before the game?
Im sure the band would accept more donations
Negative: Parking was terrible (in C lot) with no spots. One way in to lot C, with one way out of lot C. People backing up, turning around, etc. And the worker sitting under the tent not giving any direction.
Positive: the parking lot was full. Great problem to have.
So what gets me is this we need something to this effect, where are all invited. If that is the case how did getting rid of the upper deck and adding suites helps the average fan?
I dont know if yall ever been in the bar area before you get to Champions Square or here is the Green Bay Packers, but we could have a smaller version of this inside Cajun Field, as well as outside Cajun Field where regular people can tailgate.
I dont think i am being unreasonable?
This is the Johnsville Tailgate Villiage in Green Bay. Not advocating the inside be this big.
Lower deck, everday fan ready. Closer to the action
Not really talking during the game. Before the game, now it’s understandable, that a person doesnt get the amenties during the game in that area. If before the game if i wanted to show up to Cajun Field to hang out and maybe watch a game and enjoy a hot dog, to me that is not unreasonable. Now during the game those people paid to be there during the game.
If not before the game then we need something bigger outside for the average ticket holder.
I guess i can go to the Alumni Tent but the average fan is not going to do that just trying to help fan engagement and tailgating
How much money does Legends, Deano’s, Billy’s Tobasco. Find a corporate sponsor and lets get this ball rolling! I know if I had the money i would totally do it. Probably has more promotional value then the naming rights to the stadium!
Legends Villiage Tailgate?
Keep the Hill just place something like this at the top extending down to the parking lot, and that way kids and adults that come to socialize could.
Could host concerts, could be open for not even Football games. During the Summer or anytime students, and regular people could come enjoy a beer, eat kids can play cornhole whatever. That would be a year around entertainment venue that University could make money off of.
Say i am a student and i walk to my car after class i might hit them up with my friends get a burger and and play some games?
I could be pulling into the parking lot in the morning and grab me a coffee and a croissant be ready to go to class?
Yes, Night Ranger was one of the first 80's bands to have to lead guitar players, Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson. They really took off after Brad Gillis toured with Ozzy Osborne to replace Randy Rhodes after his death. Their first two LPs were really good. The record labels pretty much ruined them. I so them in 1985 in the Cajun Dome, and before that in Houston in the early 80's.
