Thread: Game 1 overall experience

Can’t speak any to the concessions or restrooms. Concession lines looked long pregame, but I never left my seat after settling in.

I always chuckle driving in to go tailgate early in the day at the 10 or so yellow shirts just chilling in chairs under tents. The notion that we can’t open all gates at once when we’ve got 10 people on site who are just lounging is laughable.

Oof. Cashless sounds great if you have the proper infrastructure to actually support it

All this digital ____ leads to a subpar experience. I'm glad I grew up in the 80s

Leaving the parking lot. D. It was not organized at all. Took us 45 minutes just to get out. They let the light on at Congress and Cajundome Blvd. Cops should have been directing traffic. It caused a cluster eff upon exiting.
I was going to add this but we left at the end of the 3rd and apparently most everyone else did, so they weren't setup yet to let traffic out.

Why not have another band play after the game, so if some go watch that it spreads out further the sequence of people leaving,

Digital programs are as useless as teets on a bull. Bring back the printed programs.

Whatever costs incurred are well worth it to elevate the gameday experience.

Hey! Night Ranger was a very underrated band.

Last night was more like P Funk opening up for Lawrence Welk.

    Apples and Oranges.

    Sorry for the math answer
Ah, well that makes sense. Thanks for the reply!

Did y’all notice that our new LED lights do not attract bugs? A better experience for the fans. Lighting was great. Watched the replay today and it looked like a daytime game.

If we stay on schedule, with all the planned renovations, Cajun Field will be phenomenal.

Don’t let the rain stop you turned out to be a great day for tailgating just with rain boots for puddles. The kids Cajun village is right across from our tailgate spot and all of the children loved it!
The Cajun walk needs to sound the siren again maybe I didn’t hear it and they still do it but I feel like a lot of people miss it. We don’t because it’s right in front of us.
In the stadium: whew we sit on the hill and geez, the PA system is deafening. Also, the fireworks are RIGHT in front of you there. after they shoot up debris flies in your eyes and now my 4 year old is traumatized. Seems kind of dangerous.

Other than that we had a blast and I like 7pm kickoff. Yes even with kids! Geaux Cajuns!
I been harping on this for years it needs to be expanded. We need a tailgate villiage expand Cajun Villiage for Kids as well as adults.

We are a blue collar town, and want to make it as kid friendly as possible. Also as adult friendly as possible. Make it happen. We need a designated tailgate area for average fans oh even if you have a tailgate spot can take your kids and parents and make it thing, i want beer vendors, food trucks, games for kids and the stage all centered around a central spot!!

Make it happen we could have a model that would make it the best!! Here is what i am talking about with a stage! Get some patio chairs a tables etc. we need a Champions Square type of thing.
