Im sorry oldman, but when you are that bad you just don't play ranked teams and expect to win. No one on this board loves saying it, but its a fact. We got blown out by Tech who got blown out by LSU and you think we can compete with an LSU calibur team right now?

then i say, LEAVE! go cheer for someone else, anyone who is afraid to get on the field, diamond, court, do not dress out. and if you can only get lsu out of your system you'll get better, but i guest you say we will always be the same, we will not improve, stay in your place you don't belong here, how dare you think you can play football, only the big... b- o- y- s can play this game. i wish you would not address anything to me if you are afraid to compete, you don't get ahead by standing still; sorry i wouldn't want you people with me who are afraid in a combat zone....and i know what your reply's going to be, so don't bother.

I agree entirley! I say we keep playing good schools! Let's face it what does it mean if we play a bunch of ~~~~~~ teams and beat them? That doesn't prove anything! And so what if we lose? Sure it counts in the loss collum but it isn't a conference game! But imagine if we win! That would do wonders for our program! Louisana is nota I-AA school. They should continue to play a I-A scehdule!

I understand that we earn money by playing these schools, but what does any one else gain. It hurts players confidence, recruiting, and fans do not want to see a losing team. How about more regional teams. Like Southern Miss again, Tulane or even a ranked team such as Arkansas. For home games to bring in a crowd, why not look into a Southern, Grambling or McNeese St. game, yes it does cost but it will help attendance and that is a promise.

I think the poll is flawed. Louisisana should play a varid schedule, and that can include no 1AA teams unless they make up a sixth game. The new 1A guidelines require five 1A games. Even if you can fill out a sixth 1AA team we may have to pass because as you well know we usually have to give up several home vists to get one 1A team other than conference teams to come in. The need to get additional visits from us will become stronger for teams like Southern Miss as they to have to give up more away games to the BCS schools.
