Talked to CMD about Lunch and he's had surgery on his elbow and likely out for the season. It wasn't a major overhaul type surgery, aka Tommy John, but enough to hole him out till fully healed.

Bryant Williams over King McGowen? I wasn't expecting that one.

Starting OL 329,328,328,327,314. That average has to be up there with any team in the country.
Yes, and that OL really had issues in pass protection the last two seasons as well. Sometimes those massive sizes work against you.

Coach Des said King is nursing a shoulder injury, so they're cautiously keeping him out of G1. I think he should be good to go after W1.

Jaydon Johnson as the starting H receiver is a little of a surprise and Tyree Skipper as a backup at safety is a surprise.

I'm not a fan of heavy/fat OL. Most teams have OL 300+ these days. Our best OT, maybe ever is starting for the Jets and played here at 290.

Our tackles are 6’7 and 6’5…they aren’t fat. Max is 310 now

Can confirm we have the largest starting five OL in SBC by average pounds per player, excluding Georgia State and Georgia Southern, who have yet to release depth chart.

Texas State is second at 323.4

    ULM is lowest at 300.
