There’s a new man at the helm of the Louisiana defense and his name is Jim Salgado.

Salgado enters his first season as defensive coordinator for the Cajuns in 2024, looking to help Louisiana turn their defensive struggles around. Salgado knows having a number of returning starters in his group will help in his first year with the program.

One thing is for absolute certain - 50% it was our fault (Defense) or 50% they were simply calling the right shots.

I hope so T. When Napier/Roberts arrived, I was shocked when I saw something I had never seen before as a UL fan. A real Cajun defense. It would be great to see again after the last couple of seasons.

Our D v ODU: all 11 were standing & staring at sideline as ball was quick snapped.

In 2nd half, we changed nothing & did it again multiple times.
