1. Tarleton Head coach sucks.
He coached entire 2nd half "not to lose". I get QB1 was hurt BUT it was clear he had 0 confidence in QB2 and it showed.

2. McNeese with literally dozens of FBS transfers still lose.but to their credit, they didn't quit. Transfer from Arkansas was wide right from 44 at end.

Caught the 4th quarter of the Tarleton State game. McDowell looked more comfortable than first half. The last McNeese State possession was a hot mess at the end. 11 on field losses in a row.

ESPN was wrong on TO available. McNeese burned a TO early in 3rd to avoid a delay call on offense that ESPN didn't account for. After that penalty they had 0 timeouts remaining. FG was the right decision. The 44 yd FG was very doable, he simply missed.

I think it's going to be a very interesting college season with the top 12 playoff and more upsets than ever as team chemistry with NIL transfers having a huge impact on the quality of play.
