Student Tailgating

Excellent for student organizations, but to be honest regular students can just setup wherever around their vehicle. Plenty open space. It’s not as bad as people think. Just have fun!

Fraternities mixed in with regular fans is not a good idea. We had it like that years ago and it was very uncomfortable if you were a family with a spot anywhere near one of the fraternities.

We were all set up in the parking lot right on the East side of CF in a row.

I've been wondering that for a long time. Fraternity row to the green space "bourgeois park" next it could be prime tailgating space IMO

Why do they have to be confined to small supervised spots?

The students were at Bourgeois Park briefly and wanted to be closer to the stadium. Both make sense, but for different reasons. This way they tailgate before the game near all the action and have easy access into Cajun Field.

Exactly. That location would/ should give them alot more freedom to do whatever they want

That's not even the issue as we were playing those songs with us However, when you have overflow students taking over your spot and sitting on your vehicles and it only swells as time goes on its not fun

It's quite simple. During the Baldwin years, the majority of those who actually showed up were NOT the frats. It's not that hard. We had enough trouble getting them to show up during the Napier years much less when we were a laughing stock
