Out of all the logos i have worked on. This one to me feels the most right. It feels and looks like a UL/USL logo. It looks like a logo that we have had forever like a vintage logo we had in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. It has every aspect of our branding, University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. To me it looks great!

Remember this is not me trying to get rid or i am not advocating getting rid of the stacked Ragin Cajun logo, this is just whether we should use this logo in conjunction with the stacked Ragin Cajuns and the FDL.

I have them playing in a 70k seat stadium, with that logo. If i am going to play a game. I can play, dream like we are a big time college. Like we are the Auburn, Texas A&M of Louisiana!

White on white logo looks really good, I think maybe make the fleur de lis the same red as the background (or just white on the white on red logo) and not the darker red and black fleur de leis may help it not be as "busy"

This is Louisiana!! Thats why we need a symbol, because if yall want the stacked Ragin Cajuns all over everything and being UL-Lafayette to death by other fans and this University They are not going to change. The interlocking UL symbol is done.

Which is the main reason why i created this logo. Why I am pushing on people getting on board with this. I am just trying to create something that is worthy that fans will accept.

Stack Ragin Cajuns and Cajuns on everything. They already have done it.

I am trying to create a legit college logo that looks like big time school. That fits our branding.

I am not going to push if the majority of fans dont want it.

Totally abandoned??? Louisiana is across the chest of our uniforms and painted in the end zones? Also its literally the state of Louisiana added to the logo

Then on top of that we would have to get the administration on board like the Albineaux the Gator.

We can see how well that is going? They really need to get it done. Blows my mind how they havent got it done already.

To be fair to the admin, college athletics is kind of going through a paradigm shift for the worst. I'll cut them some slack on branding and mascots for now lol.

Then it should be first and foremost everywhere and on all team unis. For example, softball and baseball have pretty much gone away from Louisiana on their uniforms.
