Louisiana Softball Adds Mia Liscano to the 2025 Roster

2025 will be a massive transition year for this program, and the panic button is going to be hit countless times by fans and naysayers.

What is already clear to me is Coach Habetz was the best hire for this program. The positivity, the grit and her reputation in the softball world and the local community will be very important.

The players are highly motivated. The standard and expectations are non negotiable and will not change for anybody. This team will win the SBC, will win 40 games and will be in a regional. You can book that. Any real fan will not panic.

Winning the Sun Belt and making a regional won’t cut it on this board…lol! But I do think that should be the reasonable goal in 2025. Won’t be easy.

And 40 wins? Depends on the schedule, which we don’t know.

Not really worried what will cut it for this board. They will need to pump the brakes a little and be reasonable. The Cajuns lost 9 players and many of them multiple year starters.
