Defense has the chance to be really good.

This day and age of college (and pro) football, though, you can’t depend on a defense to consistently hold opponents under 20 points a game. We’re going to need an offense that at a minimum can average 3 TD and a couple FGs a game.

Beyond the championships there is someting special about football season especially in person at Cajun Field. I'm excited to see what it feels like with half a stadium. I think this is going to be fun.

I really love construction. Watching the stadium going up during the season will be exciting for me. I know, I’m a little weird!!

The Kennesaw State game in week 2 feels like a carbon copy of the ODU game. Any semblance of a defense would have won that game. Several other games for that matter. I think we’re better on that side of the ball and therefore better overall. But don’t lose week 2. Just can’t do it to a call up picked to finish last in a top heavy and bad conference.

Stadium construction or not, if we couldn’t get 25k after such a start, we’d know where we stand with the community.

If our defense is stout we'll be in every game. And we'll probably be watching both Wooldridge and Fields play QB during the course of the season since both seem prone to hard luck injuries. Schedule looks like 9 wins but thought the same past two years. So I know nothing, am tempering my expectations while hoping for the best. I'm not bummed about the stadium seating. Its impossible to please everyone in current stadium setup, just rolling with it since a one off thing. For a good cause. If all home games this season are night games except for the 4 p.m. HC game that will be very positive for the fans.
