It all starts a few days earlier than the opening ceremonies. The team competitions take the length of the games.

The US soccer team has never in their history been competitive in major international competition. Crazy to think about.

I know it is not Olympic related, but it is Olympic adjacent, but have you guys noticed that last month Lafayette hosted the US National Championships of Karate and in August we will be hosting the US National Championships of Women's Boxing in the CajunDome. I know these are fringe sports, but Lafayette getting to host these fairly prestigious competitions is a good thing for the city.

US Soccer needs a complete reset. It has been terribly mismanaged for a long time.

Only Olympics I watched was the second half of the USWNT win gold. They’re much better without David Spade.

Hey, at least the women's team beat Brazil for the gold medal last night 1-0.

Softball and baseball return in 28. Cricket will return for only the second time after a century + long absence.

Breakdancing is one and done in Paris. If you watched it, it’s easy to see why.

If you have the opportunity, take a trip to LA in 2028. The Olympics are amazing to see live.

We attended 1996 games in ATL and plan to be in LA in 2028.

I got a few tokyo 2020 pins, i bought them in 2019, then okympucs were actually in 2021, not sure of they changed the pins

The goal scorer was not offsides but teammate was. Weird rule. Seems the offside person may not touch ball but still draws defenses attention
