Being picked 3rd mean we have championship talent on the roster. A 6 win staff and a QB room that doesn’t have a game changer.

I don't think that's correct. I mean, coaches often don't even know how good they will be with all of the turnover these days on a roster from year to year, much less knowing how good other rosters are. I agree we have a 6 win staff and mediocre QB room though but I don't think that "ranking" suggests our talent is that much better than other programs.

But he then came into the starting role last year as a true freshman, was obviously going to be our future at QB, and still decided to bolt after a couple Lafayette turncoats down the road from campus convinced someone in Houston to waive a few more dollar bills in his face.
