Trying to square we're picked 4th to 6th place in conference with CMD ranked 11th SBC coach. Even though the past two seasons haven't inspired more confidence, am hoping CMD and team will outperform these expectations.

I don't think that's correct. I mean, coaches often don't even know how good they will be with all of the turnover these days on a roster from year to year, much less knowing how good other rosters are. I agree we have a 6 win staff and mediocre QB room though but I don't think that "ranking" suggests our talent is that much better than other programs.
