The final pieces of Alyson Habetz's first softball staff as UL's new head coach are now official.

In addition to holdovers Shellie Landry as hitting coach and Karly Heath as a graduate assistant, Lacy Prejean returns as a Ragin' Cajun assistant coach and Shelbi Sunseri comes from McNeese as the pitching coach.

Glasco didn’t have several of the core starters from the past season when he took over, and did pretty well in the BR Regional.

Coach Habetz will be able to make it work, and we will be good. First season may be trying, but it will start to click.

Not trying to bring down the mood, but there were rumblings of some odd circumstances at NWST. Players unhappy with treatment. Both on the program and with the administration (which we know has had a tough go of it.) If it's not worth even mentioning just to avoid derailing the thread, I get it. Just curious it was really a thing or just social media fodder.

Yes. They also have two studs visiting this weekend from the portal. Hope we land them both. One is a junior and one a senior. Stay tuned.
