Not trying to bring down the mood, but there were rumblings of some odd circumstances at NWST. Players unhappy with treatment. Both on the program and with the administration (which we know has had a tough go of it.) If it's not worth even mentioning just to avoid derailing the thread, I get it. Just curious it was really a thing or just social media fodder.

She was at NW State as HC for only one season.

There were posts on this very board during Deggs's fist season and a half (2020 & 2021) of players and their parents being unhappy with the treatment they were supposedly receiving from him.

Now that most of those around when he was hired have moved on, and he has his guys here, how much of that have we heard? Along with that sudden silence has come winning.

True but Deggs didn’t resign after only one season either

The group will assist Habetz during her initial campaign with the Ragin' Cajuns, which begins in February 2025.

"I am thrilled to have such a talented and dedicated group of coaches join our Louisiana Softball staff," Habetz said. "First and foremost, Shellie Landry, Shelbi Sunseri, Lacy Prejean and Karly Heath are great individuals who prioritize the person over the athlete. They bring a wealth of softball knowledge from not only their coaching experience, but also from having competed at the highest level.
