Two hits through five innings with 7 strikeouts. I think he has 50 of 59 pitches for strikes.

Was just about to come here to say something about him!!
He just struck out his 10th batter.
Amazing what he can do when not rushed into service
He goes 7 innings, leaves with 6-0 lead. 3 hits, 10 Ks, no walks 89/70 pitch/k ratio. That’s a big league start.
Here’s hoping the pen doesn’t gas can it.
No walks is the key.
Astros up 7-1, bottom of 8th. Outstanding performance by Arrighetti this afternoon.
Astros reach the .500 mark for the season as Arrighetti gets his 4th win. Good afternoon.
Absent injury, this guy will be a superstar in the MLB. I posted this before. I either saw an interview special or read an article somewhere that identified that he has the arm span of someone around the 6’8” frame on his 6’2” frame. That in itself gives him advantages including movement that one with the normal extremities on the respective frame just does not have. When the Astros pitching coaches noticed that, they immediately moved him close to Houston to fast pace him up to the big league. If they can do with him what they believe they can do with him he will be a star.
And he has a cool name!
Jim Schlossnagle didnt think he was good enough for TCU
