The Texas hitting coach and recruiting coordinator is headed to A&M to join Earley’s staff. He had the #3 class in the country coming in to Texas this year and next year’s class is currently ranked #2.

And A&M was able to lure U of Washington’s HEAD COACH away to be the pitching coach in College Station.

All 3 of these guys were young assistants together at Arizona State a handful of years ago.

A couple of the Aggie starters that had entered the portal with the uncertainty have now withdrawn (the SS and DH) and are headed back to A&M. Others are expected to follow. I’m guessing they are waiting on their new NIL deals to be finalized.

Both D1 transfers that were committed have announced their intentions to honor that commitment, as have all but one of their highly ranked recruits.

I don’t think A&M will miss a beat. And will be one of the favorites to win the national title again next season.
