I hope Coach Deggs gets the job. Would be life-changing $$, and he would have everything he needs to compete for national championships in this new era.

But, while he is building something good here, A&M has a lot of egos to soothe, and they probably have to go whale hunting first.

Let's face it. Deggs can probably get 5 x $1 mill per year, net 3 mill after taxes, live large on one mill or less, have $2 mill in the bank in five years, worst case scenario. The man has a family and as sad as it would make Cajun fans and despite his own mixed feelings, he does the deal.
