LOUISIANA
The Ragin’ Cajuns suffered a blow when leading scorer Kobe Julien not only left, but stayed in conference heading to Arkansas State. Bob Marlin’s team also lost double-double machine Joe Charles to McNeese State and guard Themus Fulks left for Milwaukee after a solid season.

Louisiana returns some key players with Kentrell Garnett and Hosana Kitenge, but the Cajuns were left with another rebuild. Louisville transfer Koron Davis could be among the key pieces coming in while Jackson State guard Zeke Cook averaged nearly eight points per game before entering the portal.

Eastern Illinois wing Kyndall Davis averaged double figures last season and was particularly effective in conference play. Mostapha El Moutaouakkil is a junior college pick up who could add depth on the wing, but it’s not clear where the Cajuns will replace the size of Charles of the scoring of Julien, who averaged more than 17 points per game.
