I would prefer someone with a pitcher development background. Someone who can take a B type pitcher and get them to an elite A type level.

Not really. It's difficult to coach there. It just is but especially for baseball. I don't need to get into the details of why because most people see it.

Which is a polite way to say he didn't put up with any parent B.S. Baseball seems to be the worst sport, in H.S., in regards to parental engagement with players and coaches. Coach Thibodeaux was similar at TCH. They wanted to coach a certain way and just didn't have the capacity to deal with kids and parents who may have thought they were deserving of something they may not be.

baseball is one of the toughest sports to manage because unlike basketball or football there is not free substitution

once you are out you are out and if you are not a starter you are probably not getting in other than in the pitching position

at least softball has a little more flexible substitution rules

Really? So say he would rather the top nine donors play versus the best nine players playing. (S)end (T)he (M)oney!

I can talk to Broc and find out.

This is a ridiculous statement. Some of the biggest “donors” don’t see their kids play a lick at stm. Kim has been the same man for 40 years. Don’t slander that man…

Ask the coach why he stepped down.

I don’t know the former coach.

I do know Kim Broussard, and I stand by my statement that he has been a good AD, and more than that, is a really good man.

Who said he wasn't a good man?

No one, but it is important to recognize that not every "portion" of a comment is a rebuttal.

Runner was giving a personal endorsement.

Some of Louisiana's past pitchers who were ankle cuffed by the no hop rule would be elite pitchers today.
