National interest in college baseball would be higher leading to more interest all season long. More interest, more money.

Talk of a 4th of July National Championship would permeate the regular season.

I woulda have liked to have seen how that series plays out with A&M having Braden Montgomery and (more importantly) Shane Sdao

That said, Tennessee had a GREAT team. Excellent finals series that was great for college baseball.
