2024 Softball Transfer Portal

She is in the portal. She said she was staying publicly and then changed her mind and hit the portal. I am more focused on the 2025 roster and less on the 2024 roster.

Without any additions, here is what we think we have and this does not include whichever incoming freshman make a huge splash, and I know some will. And this is, of course, if no one else leaves.

The outfield will/can consist of 5 players, one of which probably Credeur will probably be a DH most of the time, but will include Hayden, William, Faltermen, Ardoin and Credeur.

SS--Should be played by Cissy Vasquez

1st--Same Roe

2nd/SS--Could be Brooke Otto at one of these 2 positions.

That leaves either the other IF position (2nd or SS) and Catcher as position players, the other IF position could easily be Lillian Soto.

The Pitching Staff will consist of Hoover (transfer from Texas Tech), Ryan and Delbry.

Incoming freshman Mia Norwood is listed as an infielder/Catcher, she would be the only catcher on the roster at this point.

I'm a little late to the party but I just wanted to say I'm thankful for being able to play for y'all and the university. I want to apologize for any strife I have caused, I didn't want to pack up and move for my last year. Things change and I have to put myself first. This was a bitter and heartbreaking choice and I hope y'all can understand my side. Even if you don't, I will always love the great people of Lafayette and appreciate how welcoming you guys are. I believe that the team this year, although new, will be worthwhile and champions. Nothing but love for the university and these people.
