Our Vols are in. Aggies coming back. Tied at 8.

Aggies got 9 runs on two hits and no errors so far in the 7th. Free bases hell for the Ducks.
Aggies up 13-8 and still batting in the 7th after 9 runs.
7 walks and 1 HBP. Painful to watch.
The obligatory grand slam might be the backbreaking shot to the Ducks.
8 of the runs in the 7th was with 2 outs. The lead off hitter in the inning got a single, and the only other hit was the slam. Oh my…
Florida might be the hot team this year. Don’t forget wasn’t Ole Miss the hot team 2 years ago?
The Aggie offensive performance against an Oregon team that can really pitch (double digit runs in both games
- against only the best Oregon had to offer), puts our game against A&M, specifically our pitching, in perspective. Especially in that environment. We did not run out of pitching. Runs need to be scored in the postseason to advance. The hitters have the advantage this late in the season (overall) and more so than in past years (average ERA is above 6).
Runs galore throughout the postseason.
Now the venue changes to a pitcher’s park for the final eight.

Kentucky is in over Oregon State 3-2 final score. Runner scored go ahead/winning run from 2nd on strikeout/wild pitch when pitcher did not cover home. Don’t remember if it was 7th or 8th inning.
1 Monday night (if necessary) game
SEC was that good this year
Georgia will take it for 5/8ths the CWS field
Unfortunately, this is where interest starts to fade for me. The majority of the CWS field will be made up of SEC teams. Same as the WCWS usually is and certainly will be next year. Go figure.
Last year, ORU made it and actually started off with a win so that showed promise. This year, no thanks.
