I’d like to see us go after Ace Reese from UH. Tall athletic outfielder who played a ton as a true Freshman. Was hot early in the year and wound up batting .278 for the season after a slump towards the end of the season. Lots of potential and already has a lot of game experience with 3 years of eligibility left.

See my comments Dave earlier in this thread that the Cajuns were looking at SS in the portal. There were multiple athletes they looked at, including Sam Ardoin. But all I see is him tweeting the Ragin Cajun Baseball video. I'm not sure that is considered a solid commitment.

No doubt. Kid was a big time national recruit that’s thrown just 9 college innings. He will have a ton of options in the SEC and ACC
