Play Tulane in even years and LaTurd in odd years. 10 game H&H series with both would help every program and not over saturate the rivalry since you’d play each one every other year.

Correct with a three year gap between return visits.

Lets say it started this year, Tulane would return in 2028.

ps Unless you played them both every year.

    For discussion sake:
    Tulane Home 2024
    Tech Away 2025
    Tulane Away 2026
    Tech Home 2027
    Tulane Home 2028
    Tech Away 2029

The problem is the Tech and Tulane are going to have to play each other as well. All 3 schools would have to agree to play each other every year, thereby taking up 2 schedule slots every year.

I would not have a problem with that, but I think Tulane would balk at that requirement.

Tulane is private and cannot be held to any requirement. If it were the same here as in NC it would only be LSU and La tech because we already play ULM

Wouldn't it be more beneficial we redouble our efforts on football scheduling either a Tulane, Rice, Memphis, UAB, Tulsa, and other AAC schools on annual basis with goal of one AAC school visiting Cajun Field/Lourdes Stadium annually and playing an AAC road game annually? Hope its not too much to ask, but somehow getting one of the service academies to play a football game here will be terrific and we can return the game. IMO, that seems so much more interesting than playing a future football game in Baton Rouge.
Unlikely? LSU will not travel to ANY of the state schools. That is not an option. We had an agreement a number of years ago for them to play 3 of the state schools but it was with the exception of them returning a trip. They won't do it and they don't have to really.
