Well we shall see if they hold em or fold em starting at 2 this afternoon. This has been a disappointing end to the season for sure.

Texas wasted 2 of their good pitchers yesterday and their Friday guy against us. Who are they throwing today? I like our chances vs Texas this time with C Meaux on the mound to start.
Per my note last night, Texas actually burned three of their best arms against the Aggies (LBJ Jr., Boehm, and Duplantier). My speculation was correct, Texas is starting lefty Ace Whitehead today (4.33 ERA, 60.1 IP, 23 BB, 42K, .231 OBA). Whitehead is more of a pitch to contact lefty. I have seen him at 88-91 with a decent change and breaking ball. He has given up 9 long balls in 60.1 innings.
Meanwhile, after Whitehead, Texas has -
Chase Lummus (3.86 ERA, 21.0 IP, 15 BB, 19 K, .240 OBA) (17 pitches last night)
Cade O'Hara (2.75 ERA, 19.2 IP, 6 BB, 12 K, .229 OBA( (27 pitches against the Cajuns Friday evening)
Easton Tumis (4.88 ERA, 27.2 IP, 14 BB, 27 K, .235 OBA)
** Grant Fontenot (2.45 ERA, 11.0 IP, 8 BB, 14 K, .295 OBA)
Hudson Hamilton (5.40 ERA, 16.2 IP, 7 BB, 14 K, .319 OBA)
David Shaw (7.79 ERA, 17.1 IP, 14 BB, 23 K, .275 OBA)
Cody Howard (10.36 ERA, 24.1 IP, 21 BB, 17 K, .347 OBA)
Heston Tole (6.55 ERA, 11.0 IP, 2 BB, 13 K, .304 OBA)
Luke Harrison (9.58 ERA, 10.1 IP, 12 BB, 9 K, .349 OBA)
** Dismissed from team per sportsfanatic21's post
These are all of your available pitchers with double digit innings. Discipline at the plate will be important.
Former freshman All-American Tanner Witt has battled injuries during his collegiate career and seems to be on the shelf, as he has not pitched since early March.
I do not expect Grubbs, LBJ Jr., Boehm, or Duplantier to be available today.
I would expect the Horns to hold back starter Charlie Hurley (5.32, 45.2 IP, 26 BB, 37 K, .266 OBA) for a potential Game 5/Game 6.

This is an important game for the program for Deggs. We all want to win the regional yes but we need to get to a regional final. The last two years we have not gotten there and it is important stepping stone to get into that final and play in that atmosphere with it all on the line. We need our best effort against Texas today as they looked demoralized in the dugout after the game and it is a quick turn around. Lets jump on them quick today and get to the final.
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball team's Sunday elimination game against Texas at 2 p.m. in the NCAA Bryan-College Station Regional will be televised live on ESPN2.
This game is huge for the program.
Hope they wear their Louisiana unis.
Friday must have had good viewership
