Tough error on the LSU right fielder, Jones, to allow the eventual winning run to reach 2nd base. LSU has provided a lot of grief to their opponents through the years with some dramatic late inning victories. Their fans are probably having a tough time dealing with the shoe being on the other foot. Maybe they will realize there is such a thing as the agony of defeat and have more respect for opponents going forward. Note, I know their coaches and players recognize the effort of opponents. Their fans sometimes do not.

Yep. About to spend millions to pay “amateur” players but teams keep going to the same places in the postseason because it’s cheaper to take buses.

The hypocrisy is overwhelming.
