If strength if schedule is part of rpi why should that be listed as 3 reasons

As far as I can tell UC Santa Barbara is hosting at their home field. I looked it up, Caesar uyesaka stadium. It holds 1,000 people and looks like a real dump. Isn’t there certain facility criteria to host?

Yes, but they meet the criteria. For capacity, they can bring in extra seating. Duke did as well (not a great facility).

this is probably an instance where geography was the primary factor in granting the host to UC Santa Barbara

I do not know whether or not San Diego submitted a bid to host a regional or a super regional (these are separate bids). 1) If they submitted a bid to host the super regional, 2) their facilities meet the requirements, and 3) they won the UCSB regional, their resume would be evaluated against Louisiana's resume (if Louisiana won College Station) ... given that both schools are #2 seeds. I would expect San Diego to evaluate as the stronger resume.
