We definitely needed another point guard. Hope he works out.

Seems to be on a downward trajectory, but hopefully he just wasn’t a good fit at Oregon. If nothing else, it’s refreshing to pick up a player from a P5 school.

Need as many PGs as we can get these days.

Yes, Wright's best college year seems to be his freshman season at Georgia. He had good games at Memphis, Auburn and Tennessee that year. He suffered an injury on a foreign trip prior to his sophomore year at Oregon State. That set him back but he did become a starter later that season. He began this past season with a great game in an overtime win vs Troy. As the season progressed, he lost his starting role but did play in just about every game. I presume he is a good defensive player to have started so many games in the SEC and PAC-12 without high offensive numbers. I would also guess he has a solid floor game, meaning he makes the correct basketball decision more often than not. So far we have brought in 5 new players with one scholarship remaining to be awarded. I would not be surprised if an announcement on the last guy is made shortly. Yesterday, Coach Marlin tweeted Geaux Cajuns 3 times. Usually a player commitment announcement follows shortly after those tweets. In recent days, 2 commitments have been announced so one remains.

There's a little wiggle room for some optimism with the recent additions.

Basketball Transfers are hardest to project, especially true 1st 10 games or so when we play D2/SWAC at home and most teams with a pulse on road or neutral site......Kitenge 1st few games were less than impressive. Credit Marlin and staff for figuring out the inside out game by the time conference was ramping up. There was a 10 game stretch where it was executed quite well. Then our starting PG went into pout mode. Plus our 3 pt shooting accuracy went into hibernation at same time

Kyron Davis? 6'7" shooting guard. He visited recently. Leaving Louisville.

In my opinion Marlin makes players better.

Hopefully he can bring the players together as a team, that has been his weakness.

We should have a better home schedule next season as we played a lot of road games in home and home deals in 23-24.

I’m having trouble seeing this on a recurring basis.
