Winds forecasted sustained under 20 here, gusts under 40. 4-6 inches of rain over 2-1/2 days. Pretty manageable.

    Of course subject to change.

Call your broker, buy KMB stock first thing in AM. Fear salesman will be on full tilt in AM.

Growing up nothing in the Gulf was ever called a "Cyclone. "

Cyclones were always referencing another part of the world.

    When did this change?

Looking like east of Camron. We’re going to be on the bad side. The Vermilion river is already kind of high. I’m worried about some flooding in places that tend to flood. Wind should not be too bad but 50 mph can knock down a lot of branches.

Get your grass cut. Its going to be another wet week.

Hopefully Acadiana area's power providers have their ____ together better than Centerpoint!

Organized low pressure with rotation is a cyclone, meteorologically. Hurricane, typhoon, willy willy are all just local vernacular for the same thing.

Yeah current track looks like the east side will push surge into Vermillion Bay. Pas bon for the river. Of course that could change mightily in the next two days.
