It's college baseball. The common mistake is watching MLB one day then college ball the next and making some sort of equivalency.

Some people have tried to equate top 20 D1 to lower level pro baseball, High A or AA.

College ball is much closer in quality of play to high school than AA. Not even close. That's why stats matter. Stats are objective. Calling a top 25 staff average is not objective.

And I would bet that their team ERA is higher against the better teams they played than against the weaker ones. Which was what I said is normal…for any team.

Indeed they did and is a good accomplishment but gave up 10,7 and 3 in the series. All I’m pointing out is what I stated that since our schedule got more difficult starting with coastal our era hasn’t been as impressive.

That’s true. And a shame. They’re a regional team but the RPI formula won’t allow it because of the conference they’re in.
