The umps just gave App State the bad news that Beach’s bat is in fact legal. The Coastal dugout erupts … and this one is getting chippy.

Beach then goes off the LF wall for a double, Barthol stops at third after being unsure whether the ball was going to be caught. Runners at second and third, 1 out.

If Coastal loses this game, I don’t care what their RPI is, they are NOT a regional team in my opinion.

They’ll be 34-23 (10-14 outside of their home park), finished in 7th place in the SBC, and will have gone 0-2 in the double elimination portion of the conference tourney.

That doesn’t sound like an at large resume to me at all.
