Funny how many whose father's were athletes seem more in need of more money. If i was giving out scholarships or payments i might spend the money in the reverse order and pay athletes families last and those who need it more first. Or at very least if the athlete needs it that should be yet another argument against these payments

Rashada is suing on counts of fraudulent misrepresentation, fraudulent inducement, aiding and abetting fraud, civil conspiracy to commit fraud, negligent misrepresentations, tortious interference, aiding and abetting tortious interference and vicarious liability.

Many here felt that Napier the god did many of these things to Louisiana as he departed then came back to poach players.

Maybe they were correct and we should stop worshipping this faux god.

He left before NIL and the transfer portal fully kicked in. His stock was at it's high point.

If he had stayed and top players portaled out for more money his market value could have easily fallen

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'll would have a Merry Christmas.

He was very aware of what was coming down the road with NIL. I asked just before his last season what he was doing with 8 QBs on the roster and he said, "hey man, you haven't hear about NIL?" I'm paraphrasing, but you get my drift. Had he stayed, maybe we are still winning championships and possibly had the financial support to fend off some NIL offers from other schools. We'll never know what may have happened. It doesn't look too good for him today. It will be interesting because this won't be the first lawsuit in the new age of NIL.

Billy made the right decision for him and his family when he left and went to Florida. You can't blame him for that.

Maybe if damages are awarded we should get a cut or bringb the case right after

In pro sports they have to prorate their income based on where games are, and file for many different states, why should college be different

He had pretty good recruiting success here using the Robichaux Way ("raising young men, not football players")

Then he goes to Florida where players -- and more importantly, parents -- are solely concerned with NIL money + NFL draft prospects His classes were good but that's easy to do when you're handing out $13m offers that apparently aren't even real

He's unfortunately proven that he's not a P2 coach. Question now is does he find his way back to success at a smaller school, or spiral uncontrollably until he's coaching high school like Hudspeth
