How much creativity was needed for R1, and howd they miss out?

You are my sunshine is upper Louisiana and Janbalaya is Nashville’s idea of South Louisiana. That’s what our band director wanted years ago to represent our culture. Dr. Ancelet and Steve Riley came up with a great idea for a spirit entry for the band using the Bosco Stomp and cheers. Tried to make headway for a number of years. It ended up with zero success. UL is helping kill our culture as we speak. At least athletically. O well. Tried. Now too tired.
I like what they did with the marching band songs and cheers. We just need to stop fight it and embrace our culture and traditions.
"Louisiana Saturday Night"
Even for midweek games.
Day games too.
"Well, you run down the middle and you run through the hole.
Kick off your ball and you show ’em on the score.
Dance in the Swamp till the mornin’ light.
Louisiana Saturday Night."
That works.
In addition, whenever we roll out the tunnel on blackout/Military appreciation games, fire up the AC/DC Back in Black in cadence with the Victory bell which is above the axial of the tunnel. With that tunnel having been outfitted with lighted "Ragin Cajuns" on the ceiling potentially pulsating in tune with the beat of Back in Black but also the ability to feel the reverberations of the Bell as well.
We'd go from not even in contention to one of the 10 best entrances in College Football.
