Not a deep staff, but a capable one. They have a couple of arms they typically use late that are good (Starling and Wood). Willingham has been solid. From there, a number of middling arms.

Good guys take the lead in B4. 2-1, runner on 2nd, 1 out, Lafleur up

Why did they walk that Debarge guy? Is he any good?

Maybe their coach got the memo

Nah, they rather him walk than dance.

    Trey 3-3 so far.

Higgs almost with an RBI single. Just missed it. I’ll give him partial credit for the good at bat.

Need that production from the 1-2 in the lineup.

Their pitching is in the Sun Belt top half statistically. Hitting is near the very bottom.

Sun Belt umpires are OUCHEA. 1st base ump says Pastore went around on a check that wasn't close and then gets rung up on a ball in the other batter's box and low.

They have really had their struggles offensively. I am really surprised that Will Turner has struggled the way he has this season (hitting 118 points lower than '23). He is a good college ball player and legitimate 3-hole. Perhaps the lack of protection, hence having him in the leadoff spot. I would take him on my team any day.

The 3-2 pitch to Holt by LP was significantly better than the strikeout pitch to Pastore.
