Remember, Tulane got hot at the end of the year last year, won the AAC tournament, and damn near won their regional. Maybe it's a repeat.

Tulane did get hot at the end of the season, but did not "damn near win their regional". They went 2 and BBQ, losing to LSU and Sam Houston State by a combined scores of 17-4, 10-2 to LSU and 7-2 to SHSU.

...season ended Saturday May 4th at Troy. If you read what the Goober's post during all the games this season, the Cajuns should have turned in their cleats and stopped playing baseball after the Tulane or Rice series. Cane Pole talk, there.

I'm still waiting for all the "goobers" baseball resume's.

Outsiders (against stolen bids) will be rooting for the Cajuns to win the SBC Tourney this year, especially if a bubble team or "out" team is the opponent.

It should have, because like some posters at that time pointed out, this team is undeserving of a Regional. They don't deserve to be in the post season. Don't know why we're even discussing it in this thread.

2020 Louisiana 8–9 0–0 Season canceled due to COVID-19
2021 Louisiana 32–23 13–11 Sun Belt Tournament
2022 Louisiana 37–23 19–11 NCAA Regional
2023 Louisiana 41–24 18–12 NCAA Regional
2024 Louisiana 38-15 21-6

And 2024 isn't finished. Our conference record is already much better, and our overall record might end up being better as well.
