I still feel like when Louisiana had the #1 Out of Conference SOS and RPI, and the #11 overall RPI, back when Scott Farmer was the committee chairman (but had to leave the room when LA was discussed) that Louisiana was delt the short end of the stick and didn't host.

Watching the 7innings show. Same panel. When will they stop referring to UL as a “mid-major?” I hate when that term is used for diamond sports. You’d think after years and years of playing at a high level, even hosting this year, they’d stop considering us, even TXST as “mid.”

My wife asked why I even watch those shows. I don’t have a good answer. I know it’s not a shot at us, but rather just lazy on the media’s part.

Pretty sure they want the most competitive games on major tv. Ole Miss Baylor should be a good game. Not overlooking Princeton but that game could be over in 5

It’s just a reminder to everyone that we do it with a fraction of the budget. Let them continue to acknowledge that against all odds, we still compete with the big girls!

That was 2012. Finished with #12 adjusted rpi ranking at selection and hosted as a 14. Only 4 games against the rpi top 25 just doesn’t cut it. They didn’t have the #1 SOS that year either.
