I didn’t see it but if there was 2 strikes and she got a time violation, the penalty is a strike…which would result in a strikeout

Makes sense. I'll have to go back and watch a replay. At the time it happened, the announcers explained it just how I mentioned. Again, they may have gotten it wrong.

Then, if you're right, I assume the announcers were wrong. They said she struck out, based on the fact she offered on the passed ball. So, therefore it was a strike. Strike two was actually strike three.

I know the pitchers have 20 seconds to pitch and the batters have 10 seconds to get in the box. I'm pretty sure Maddie was in the box within 10 seconds.

I will say, the PBP female announcer was only concerned about how much she could talk without stopping. So, I wouldn't be surprised if she got it wrong.
