MONROE, Louisiana - One day separates the Louisiana track and field team from history at the Sun Belt Conference Championships at Groseclose Track at Brown Stadium in Monroe, Louisiana. After two days of competition, the Cajun women lead the field with 57.5 points while the men sit fourth with 29.

The women had a disappointing 5000m race. I expected us to score 2-5 points in the event. TxSt had a great 5000m race and stole 6 points when their runner had a PB. Had the 5000m gone as expected the Lady Cajuns win the SBC.
