Deggs mentioned recently that he wants to get the title because this team deserves to dog pile. So I’m guessing it’s gonna happen when/if they get it done.

If the Cajuns sweep and Troy wins today but loses Sunday. I don't see how a dogpile for regular season championship happens since Cajuns would likely conclude prior to Troy Sunday loss. (If that's what happens)

Like Vic said about magic numbers…

Any combination of 2 Cajuns wins or 2 S. Miss losses takes care of them.
Any combination of 3 Cajuns wins or 3 Troy losses takes care of them.

On the USM thing, 2 is the magic number to be rated ahead of them on tiebreaker for the tournament, but they would claim a regular season co-championship if we finished with the same conference record. I say let’s not give them the satisfaction.

You can go back to 2016 when we beat South Al 2/3 but finished with the same record. Officially we’re co champions but we had the 1 seed
