I didn’t see the shot in the bottom of the 8th because the camera angle didn’t change, but I thought that should have been caught when it left the bat. If caught, we’re still down 1.

Agree 100%. He's our best defensive outfielder. At the plate, he doesn't have the power other options do, but he can bunt and has speed. He would be a great lead-off batter, IMHO. My OF would be Higgs in left, Mandino C, and Stelly RF.

I don’t know if Pastore is still dealing with some sort of issue throwing the ball, but it sure would be nice if he could go back to 3rd with Lafleur at 1st so the DH spot would be open for Yuhasz.

That would open Higgs-Mandino-Stelly OF trio to be used. Amedee has been in a prolonged slump at the plate (.176 since April 6th…a month), and while he’s not awful, he’s also not great defensively.

I also liked what Brian Broussard brought to the lineup last Sunday and would like to see more of him

Yeah - I'd like to see Pastore at 3rd given Amedee's slump. If that can't happen, maybe give Cuff a shot?
