From our friend… Evante Daniels - Most people don't know this, but when I came to visit UL when I was 17, I was debating between coming here or going to Auburn. Both universities had strong programs in what I wanted to study and I had equivalent scholarships so genuinely I was torn on where I wanted to go. That was until @mr_perfektion_4 recommended that my family and I get lunch at @oldetymegrocery. I was told to get a whole shrimp Poboy with an @abitabeer root beer.
After that first bite, I wanted to become a Ragin' Cajun. And while I didn't finish out my time there, this sandwich reminds me of I made the best decision.

They are not lying when they say Acadiana, Lafayette in particular, has some of the best food in the world. You should definitely be able to recruit to that.
