Just looked into the new DSR system that SportsFanatic21 pointed to in an earlier post. It's interesting to say the least. The preseason prediction of ULM and Marshall not winning one conference game could start to make since (finally).

The D1 guys have discussed teams whose RPI and DSR rankings are quite different. The Cajuns fall into that category. I wonder if the committee will consider DSR when making their selections.

On the one hand some are saying a 2 is generous, yet being in region #14 would imply that is the 3rd best of all the 2's?

How such a huge disconnect?
Also wasnt there a time when they did not dilineate who was 2 and who was 3?
