Cajuns' softball moved up to #11 in the RPI this weekend. The difference between where they are at #11 and the #13 spot is that special RPI bonus that only a few teams receive. The criteria seems to be steeped in the strength of your non-conference schedule on the road (as I mentioned last week). The RPI bonus awarded is the same as beating an RPI Top 25 team ... .0026. This bonus alone was enough to vault the Cajuns past both Texas A&M and Oklahoma State. Last week, only 10 teams qualified for this RPI bonus. This week, it was 12.

Also, with Colorado State just outside the Base RPI Top 75 at 76 ... there is an additional potential RPI bonus of .0013 looming.

Yeah, thought it was fun referencing the Warren Nolan page as it "updates" constantly, but seeing as how it had our RPI at 15 and NCAA/D1 had us at 11.

Been noticing Warren Nolan has not been consistent with NCAA/D1.
