Personally I love press conferences, so I put the press conferences (which were also on YouTube) here on RP.

Press conferences (historically) are not a method used to generate interest.

They are generally used by media to glean talking points for multiple articles.

If you follow Dave Schultz on X, a lot of spring coverage was available. In fact he has videos of interviews with Coach Dez and players following the spring game up now

How many schools have spring games close to the public ��

Probably all the ones whose stadiums are demolished and under construction and they have to hold it in their indoor facility. I’m trying to figure out why this is hard for some to understand?

I can't find a story on RaginCajuns.com about the spring game. Can anyone provide a link to what went on? Stats, completions stuff like that?

I received an invitation, and I'm not a big money guy. I was at the baseball game, so I didn't want to attend.

But the only question I have is they used social media to promote the spring game, only to play it in the sweat box with limited access for fans. Why? Now I have attended countless scrimmages at the two practice fields over the years; they were roped off during those scrimmages and they had a small set of bleachers available for older people.

There was really nothing that prohibited them from doing this for the spring game other than Coach Desormeaux wanting a close spring game. This is not exactly the way to get your fan base engaged, but he has made it clear that is something he really isn't concerned with.
